Single-hung windows have a top sash that is fixed in place, meaning only the bottom sash can be moved up to open the window. Double-hung windows offer more flexibility as both the top and bottom sashes can move, allowing you to open the window from either end or both simultaneously for better ventilation. If you currently have single hung windows, they can be replaced with our double-hung windows.
